LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD PENISES

Reader beware: This is about the Icelandic Phalloloical Museum, otherwise known as The Penis Place. It’s in Reykjavik, Iceland, and it “…houses the world’s largest display of penises and penile parts.”

Inside this unique exhibit you will find 280 specimens from 93 animal species including whales, seals and various land animals. In 2011, they received their one-and-only human penile member but it’s detachment from the donor’s body did not go well and was “reduced to a grayish-brown shriveled mass that was pickled in a jar.”

The website is not clear about just what penile parts are on display but you can imagine what they might look like after, uh, detachment and bronzing. The museum does have a gift shop if you’re looking ahead to holiday shopping.

And if you’re thinking about donating, the museum is still looking for “a younger and bigger and better one.”
